"Twelve Months of the Year"
a series of signed limited edition lithographs by Peter Brook
Renowned Yorkshire landscape artist, Peter Brook (1927-2009), lived and worked primarily in West Yorkshire and took his inspiration from the rural landscape surrounding him. His paintings show the natural beauty of the Pennines and the Yorkshire Dales as well as the agricultural and industrial character of the area.
In 1976 Agnew's commissioned Peter to produce a series of prints titled 'Twelve Months of the Year'. The set of 12 lithographs was printed in 1978 in an edition of 150 by the Curwen Studio, London under the direction of Stanley Jones. This set of prints is available to buy here.
